Royally good singsong - NHS staff join Royals for festive carol service
Five lucky Public Health Nurses (Health Visitors) were specially selected to represent Worcestershire at this year’s ‘Together at Christmas’ Carol Concert organised by Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales.
Imogen Rider, Alice Leaper, Heather Reed, Rachele Flynn, and Nicole Bedson - all Health Visitors for the Starting Well Partnership attended the beautiful service on Friday 8th December.
For the past three years, the HRH the Princess of Wales has hosted a carol concert at Westminster Abbey, which will be broadcast on Christmas Eve and this yea rs’ service acted as an opportunity to thank those within our communities who have gone above and beyond in what they do to support new parents, their babies, and young children.
Imogen Rider, Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) said “The service itself was beautiful and very emotional. The recognition for midwives and health visitors was clear and the atmosphere was fabulous. It’s an experience I will never forget”
